Kathleen Pringle is the Director of the Stillwater Yoga Studio. She is an Iyengar certified, intermediate level instructor who has been teaching Iyengar Yoga for over 20 years. She studies regularly with the Iyengars in Pune, India and also attended the International Women's Intensive and Silver Jubilee Festival. She offers apprenticeships for teachers in training, workshops, and private and group classes. Kathleen uses a light-hearted approach to her classes and shares her deep understanding of the poses with her students.
 
 
Lynn Brandli has been studying and teaching yoga most of her adult life. Her inspiration to teach comes first from her students (and all living things) and then from the Yoga Sutras, which guide us to unfold into our potential. Lynn enjoys teaching to all ages and body types, especially to pregnant bodies! Lynn is mom to 2 boys and is active in supporting postpartum women in her community.
 
Kquvien DeWeese is a certified Iyengar instructor and has been studying yoga for 8 years. She brings with her a background in dance, martial arts and weightlifting. Her unique teaching style is both motivating and challenging, leaving her students with a sense of accomplishment, confidence and inner peace. Kquvien gets to know her students and works to accommodate each individual’s specific needs and physical challenges. She has taught children, adults, senior citizens, pregnant women, athletes, former athletes and self-proclaimed couch potatoes, leaving each student educated both physically and mentally in the benefits of Iyengar yoga. She is compassionate yet motivating, encouraging each individual to work to their potential. Her knowledge and experience have benefited many students in different stages of life.
 
Roger Gatlin is the co-founder of the Southeast Yoga Association and has been instrumental in bringing internationally known teachers to Atlanta since 1984. He has traveled to India to study with the Iyengars. Roger is also a member of the advisory board of the American Yoga College. He is a certified Iyengar yoga instructor whose teaching style has been described by others as patient, direct, practical and unpretentious.
 
 

Howison Hollenberg has studied Iyengar yoga since 1995 and began teaching in 2006. She approaches her study and teaching with a bright curiosity and gratitude for our ability to heal and renew through the practice of asanas. She enjoys sharing yoga with people of all ages and abilities, and works to foster in her students a sense of discovery and confidence as they develop greater strength, flexibility, and awareness in their practice.

 
 
Steve Jacobson is a certified Iyengar teacher who combines practicing
and teaching yoga with a career as a philosophy professor. Steve has studied Iyengar Yoga since 1984, and has spent well over a year at the Iyengar Institute in India in regular visits dating back to 1988. He also has an extensive background in Aikido. His classes are filled with compassion, humor and a sense of exploration."
 
Kathy Koenigsberg has been studying Iyengar Yoga since 1999. As a long-time resident of Dunwoody she is excited to be part of Stillwater’s expansion and looks forward to sharing her knowledge of Iyengar Yoga and how it improves balance, strength and flexibility of the body along with balance, strength, and flexibility of the mind. Her classes are accessible, yet challenging - a perfect place for students new to Yoga to begin their practice.
 
Anna Leo began her Iyengar yoga training in 1983 with Ellen Saltonstall in New York City, where she was also studying ballet and modern dance and performing. She is currently as Associate Professor of Dance at Emory University, and incorporates yoga into all of her dance classes. She is especially interested in the relationship between the alignment stressed in Iyengar yoga and how this pertains specifically to dance training.
 
Nancy Mau is a certified Junior Intermediate 1 Iyengar Yoga teacher and is the immediate past President of the B.K.S. Iyengar Yoga Association of the Southeast. Nancy has been to RIMYI in Pune, India three times since 2002 and has been a student of Iyengar Yoga since 1992. She continues her studies with her senior teachers to integrate the principles into her own practice and she happily shares her observations along the way.

 

 

Scott Schroeder has been teaching in the Iyengar tradition since 2002. Having come into yoga with a background in martial arts, his practice has spanned over a decade and has taken him to study abroad in India and to attend a myriad of workshops with several of the most adept instructors in the world. Scott’s teaching approach has grown to combine practical, real-world experience with a strong emphasis on precision and technique. A dedicated and ardent practitioner, he continues to rely on the genuine support of his students, friends, family and fellow teachers to impart his knowledge of yoga with clarity, authenticity, vitality, humor, and compassion.
 
 
Carol Walsh is a certified Introductory level Yoga Instructor, who has been practicing Iyengar Yoga since 1995 and has been instructing classes since 2000. She is inspired by the direct experience of studying with the Iyengar family at the Ramamani Iyengar Institute in Pune India and she continues to grow in the study of this linage with senior teachers in this country. She combines her studies and knowledge of Structural Integration as a Rolfing Practitioner with her teaching style.
